Case Insights

Fall 2006

Case insights - assignments (50% of grade):

Each student is expected to read and prepare each of the cases to be covered in class before the session in which the case presentation is made.  You must hand in a minimum of five insights for cases you will NOT be presenting.  You are required to e-mail insights to RAO8@psu.edu and GLilien@psu.edu, NO LATER THAN 1AM ON THE DAY THE CASE IS TO BE DISCUSSED IN CLASS:

In general the format should follow the case-presentation guidelines, although in a much more abbreviated form (1 page managerial summary and 3-4 pages of supporting analysis maximum).

Note: Better grades will be given to those insights that combine brevity with substance.

Insights may be prepared and handed in individually or by a group.

You are encouraged to hand in insights on all the cases, but only your best five scores will count toward your final grade.

Your Insight must include the affirmation:

“I/We ______________________ have neither given, utilized, received, nor witnessed unauthorized aid on this deliverable and have completed this work honestly and in accordance to the professors' guidelines.”
